Red Bull hosts extreme sports events all over the world including Red Bull X-Fighters, Red Bull Rampage and Red Bull BC One.
In the past, each event would use a different opening sequence when aired on Red Bull TV. So they asked for a new sequence that would work as an opening sequence to any event, all year round.
I started by picking the best footage from each Red Bull event, then Harriet Gillian stitched together each scene with some fisheye-crazy cel-animated transitions.
Then, I took the whole sequence into Photoshop and painted over each frame by hand, roughing up edges and giving it a mixed media feel.

Jump’s role: Additional cel animation, huge amounts of creative influence, references, advice, specialist knowledge, coffee, brainstorming sessions and the right attitude to getting stuff done on-budget and on time.
Sky Movies Tom Cruise
Recently, Tom Cruise became famous enough for his own TV channel.
Even though the channel was to exist only for a week, we were given the freedom to create a really cool set of graphics.
I worked on graphics for set designs, promos and idents. My main job was to piece together all of our animations and create the final composite for each promo.
It became a huge hit, with the graphics still being shown on demand for Sky Customers.
Jason Derulo - 2016 World Tour Visuals
This was one to tick off the bucket list.
After working with multi-platinum artist Jason Derulo on his 2016 X-Factor performance, his management invited Spiked Media & the team back to create visuals for his world tour.
With the same tiny, amazing team of three (me, an animator and an art director), we worked around the clock to produce some amazing, original graphics for the tour. We then all went down to the 20,000 capacity O2 Arena to film this summary video. As a total music geek, just being inside the O2 arena is a rush. It was incredible seeing those few weeks of hard work being projected behind one of the most successful pop artists of the decade.

The motto for this project?
This was a phrase that I got used to repeating to myself during production.
I combined and created a lot of 2D and 3D elements to create this modern-retro platformer.
What I did: 3D (Modelling, Texturing, Animation, Lighting, Compositing), 2D animation, deliverables, animatics.
Agency: Jump Design & Direction
Jump’s role: Concept, art direction, storyboarding, providing 3D character assets & styleguide
This was such a fun project to make. The team at Ticketmaster gave me total creative freedom to make two really energetic, positive videos to promote their new marketing tools.
Starting off with a ‘keep it simple, stupid’ approach, we gradually introduced elements into the piece to tell a story. Things really came alive once we started playing around with different characters, guiding our viewer through the story.
Note: There's no audio on this video due to licence limitations on the audio track itself. However, I enjoyed the overall feel of this project so much that I couldn't help but feature it.
Sky Movies Monsters
A project for Sky Movies involving some sweet 80s nostalgia.
This project was a great opportunity to produce something really special for film fans. There’s a fair few hidden easter eggs in there as well. Had a real blast on this one - its a shame it was only a 5 second piece!
